LAW CENTRAL
Law Central is an initiative to provide a platform to law students; where they can actively participate in various legal activities and competitions. Law is called a jealous mistress and there is no room in it for the lazy and mediocre. We intend to bring out the best amongst students by promoting in them a sense of competitiveness. Our vision is to inculcate a feeling of professionalism and responsibility in budding
lawyers.
JLSR:
Journal for Law Students and Researchers [JLSR] is an Online Journal with ISSN: 2582-306X which is quarterly, Peer-Reviewed, published online and JLSR seeks to provide an interactive platform for the publication of Short Articles, Long Articles, Book Reviews, Case Comments, Research Papers, Essays in the field of Law. Our aim is to upgrade the level of interaction and discourse about contemporary issues of law.

Getting bored at home! You can join the W.E.B.I.N.A.R series organized by Law Central and JLSR.
It is an initiative to promote learning from home. We believe there are numerous questions that arise in aspiring law students during their college lives and go unanswered. Questions that could have encouraged various perspectives if answered. Hence we took this responsibility to become, a bridge between students and professionals to provide a platform where Experts could share and guide new
comers toward a path leading to success.
W.E.B.I.N.A.R by Law Central and JLSR will be a series of webinars covering various aspects of student life and the legal profession.
“The one with Legal Startups” is the first edition of this series. Students here will get a chance to learn from Inspiring speakers who initiated such startups which are now followed by rest. They will discuss their journey, share experiences, and much more. Law Central and JLSR are organizing this Webinar to foster a network of the legal community to facilitate interactions among young minds of today.

- DETAILS OF SPEAKERS: The Webinar will consist of 2 Speakers discussing Legal Startups.
Speaker 1: Dr. Kalpesh Kumar L Gupta
Dr. Kalpeshkumar L Gupta is a Law Teacher and Researcher. He is having around 17 years of experience in industry and academia. Also, he is in the academic field since 2010, worked with IIM Ahmedabad, Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, and other prominent institutions.
He was the faculty coordinator of the GNLU Legal Incubation Council at GNLU; and played the key role in establishing the same. Presently he is working as an Associate Professor of Law and Coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Parul University, Vadodara His areas of interest are law, management, public policy, RTI, entrepreneurship, start-ups, legal start-ups, etc.
He has founded ProBono India, Legal Startups which are first of its kind platforms in India.
Speaker 2: Mr. Tanuj Kalia
He graduated from NUJS, Kolkata, batch of 2013. He is the founder and CEO of Lawctopus, an online portal designed to help law students. The website has been featured in leading dailies such as The Economic Times, The Telegraph, among others. He’s a prolific blogger and writer. He’s previously written for Legally India and Bar and Bench and won the ‘Best Blogger in India’ award in a competition organized by LI. Later, he founded NoticeBard in 2017 with the aim to make it a Lawctopus equivalent for other streams.
TIMINGS: The Webinar is scheduled for 5th July, 05:00 p.m. onwards.
We tend to keep it a short and crisp session of 60 minutes.
