Delhi University was directed by the Honorable High Court of Delhi to declare results for all the postgraduate programs by the end of October. the division bench of Hon’ble justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad has further directed the university to ensure that the results and mark sheets are uploaded online on the university website and no student is compelled to physically come and collect these.
The Delhi University has to ensure that the mark sheets online do not contain any Rider/ footnote which suggests that the said mark sheet required any further verification. ‘Marksheet download from the website shall be usable for all the purposes’, the court said. In addition to the court has ordered the university to declare the result for all the undergraduate programs, were both Honours and program courses maximum within 3 days from the tentative dates set by the university for declaration of results.
The University filed an affidavit, as per this affidavit most of these date calls between 28th to 31st October. In view of the above directions, the court has ordered not to monitor the present petition filed by Prateek Sharma and the National Federation for Blind Concerning Online OBE conducted by the Delhi University. Although, the court has clarified that the question of law stated in this petition shall remain open.
