    #1. About Law by Tony Honoré

    About Law: An Introduction (Clarendon Law)

    It gives the basic introduction to a law and its author Tony Honoré is a very famous legal academic and he gives a basic English legal systems. He put Law simple and interesting. He discussed all kinds of topics. It’s a very short book and every student should read this book in a very starting because this book starts with the basic introduction.

    It talks about the racism and society in 1930s America. This book suggests to Law students because of its main character, Atticus Finch, is a lawyer tasked with defending a man shunned by everyone else. Finch represents the legal ideas and the book is a well source of inspiration for those wondering why law is important, why rights must be protected.

    There is also a movie of the same name which can be enjoyed by one.

    Under this, thrilling cases are representing, criminal barrister Jeremy Hutchinson has been involved in. It’s the most famous character appeared in the courts.     Lord Denning is a good writer as well as being a great judge, earlier book on the list, I have mentioned his uniqueness. He was from a poor family, who was not involved in the law at all. Lord Denning worked with many English judges, beginnings to the position of Master of the rolls (the second highest judge in the land and the master of the court of Appeal). He did not forget his past life when he reached these heights and his approach to the law proves it. Its an inspirational book for the students as this book tells that you can become a great lawyer no matter what or where you come from.

    #10. On Liberty by John Stuart Mill

    Author of the book believes that liberty is the most important aspect of the individual. His famous work was an essay called On Liberty and he said that the only justification for law was to prevent harm to others. Ronald Dworkin, Herbert Lionel Adolphus Hart and John Stuart Mill were some of the pre-eminent thinkers in this subject. Hart wrote the Concept of Law. He said that law was simply a collection of man-made rules, which we can choose to follow or ignore. Dworkin said that law was a product of morality and law cannot exist without it. Two authors argued for many years and still it is unresolved. His views are opposed to Hart. Dworkin book was Law’s Empire. These books are very academic that’s why this book recommends to students.

    #11. The Firm by John Grisham

    It’s a best seller book that was listed, ‘Grisham, a criminal defense attorney’. It’s at the highest level and law office procedures, smoothly meshing them with the criminal events of the narrative. This book is a thriller.

     #12. 1861: The Civil War Awakening by Adam Goodheart

    This book is a great reading for the student. It has written 150 years after the beginning of the Civil War, 1861. It reads like a thriller, but is full of history and constitutional law. Both houses of Congress voted to amend the constitution to enshrine the right to own slaves in the constitution and make it the one amendment that could never be amended. They did all in attempt to mollify the Southern states.

    #13. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

    This is a best seller book and explores the constitution in favour of a Christian theocracy that results in a wholesale reversal of women’s right. It was published during the prime ascendancy of the Christian Right in national politics. It applied more to a global context. Women are forbidden to read or write or vote.

    #14. The Rule of Law by Tom Bingham

    Under this, what are the best rule of law since 1200? And what are the most important features of rule of law. It was the greatest hit book. Author plays a role of stable society.

    #15. Justice: What’s the Right Thing to Do? by Michael J. Sandel

    This book invites reader for political controversies and it talks about the suicide, abortion, same sex marriage, etc. Students and lawyers are facing problems like society now a days. These conflicts can help us of thinking of philosophy, morality, politics as well.
