Mediation Boot Camp by The PACT and Law Central (29th – 30th August 2020): Register Now
A boot camp aims to sharpen the skills of aspiring lawyers; so that they can be transformed into newly trained mediators. The camp will be managed by Law Central and PACT – Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution Trust; a non-profit organization created under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 for law students; and practicing mediators to adequately prepare them for an effective response to industry demands. It is also about improving their knowledge, skills, and confidence to
successfully deal with cases in all sectors of the economy.
The two-day online event provides the platform for intense hands-on lessons and role-playing by participants. The session was characterized by many professional role-playing games; that can include corporate governance, equity, marriage, family, community, intellectual property, territorial boundaries; and land dispute resolution. Role-playing games are designed with real case characteristics to help participants; including parties and mediators, develop the skills required for practice.
ABOUT LAW CENTRAL
Law Central is an initiative taken by a team of like-minded people to provide a platform for law chasing students; where they can actively participate in various legal activities and competitions. Traditional law courses are an effective means of learning legal doctrines; but they are not exposed to the practicality of law.
Therefore, we are working at Law Central to build a bridge; between traditional teaching and hands-on learning to meet modern requirements.

The Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution Team is a legal awareness and education firm headquartered in New Delhi, India. It consists of a team of like-minded professionals from the legal background; who share a vision of promoting alternative and consensual dispute resolution.
