DECODING THE FORMATS OF DEBATES AND INTERNATIONAL DEBATING TOURNAMENTS

Legal Thirst is an emerging Legal Platform that is working for the upliftment of the Legal Profession as a Noble Profession in our country. We are working with a great team of law professionals and law students; and maintaining our motto of upliftment as a PAN India & Non-Profit Organization. Legal Thirst Firm is working in the area of Pro-Bono Legal Awareness and Litigation. Also, maintaining the continuous legal updates of Events, Laws, Blogs, Moots, Sessions; and Workshops in benefit of Law community.

Legal Thirst in association with MANCH National Speakers Assembly is organizing a Debating Session that will cover all the important aspects of Debating. Debating is a crucial skill for Law students as well. Anyone who wants to brush-up their debating skills can join this useful session.

Speaker 1:- Ms. SHANKARI VAIDYA

Ms. Shankari Vaidya is a triple crown awardee and regional level finalist in Impromptu speaking. She has been awarded a distinction in public speaking from Trinity College, London. Also has a master’s diploma in training from the Indian Academy of Training and Development. She is also trained by Sabira merchants in corporate training and etiquette. Ms. Vaidya has worked as a Vice President, Education at Toastmasters International. She has also worked as a speechwriter for TEDx speakers and world championship of public speaking contestants.
With a slew of work experience and great achievements and unparalleled training experience, she is the go-to person for training in public speaking skills.

Speaker 3:- Abhishek Tripathi

Abhishek Tripathi is not only a dedicated law student but also is the founder of MANCH National Speakers Assembly which is India’s first Debating and Public speaking organization.
He is a certified Diplomat from the American Centre, Embassy of USA, New Delhi. Abhishek is a passionate public speaker and his areas of interest are mooting, debating, and legal research. He has excelled in various competitions like Adi Shankaracharya Memorial Debate, JDMC, TRI-FORMAT, NATIONAL EXTEMPORE COMPETITION, etc. Recently he was adjudged as the 2nd Runner-Up in most prestigious SURANA & SURANA INTERNATIONAL ATTORNEYS MOOT POINT SERIES.
Moreover, he is the most suitable person who has experience in all the debating formats including APD ( Asian Parliamentary Debate), BPD(British Parliamentary Debate), MUN(Model United Nations), YPD(Youth Parliament Debate), EXTEMPORE, ELOCUTION, TRI-FORMAT, TURNCOAT, etc.
